What is Efficlean-TF?
Efficlean-TF is an online thermic fluid cleaning system. This is an intelligent filter separating particles / solid fromthermic fluid at micron levels even to the extent of 0.25 microns. It works on the principle of centrifugal action, whereoil will be circulated for a predefined number of passes as recommended, and cleaned oil sent back.
Impurities in Thermic Fluid
As we know, even the most highly refined Thermic Fluids available in the market are subject to oxidation to some extent at elevated temperatures. The oxidation of Thermic Fluid results into formation of carbonaceous residues (sludge) which can impair system operations by clogging pump filters, depositing on heated surfaces & impairing the performance of mechanical seals. At the same time, some of the oil soluble acidic products also tend to increase viscosity of oil affecting its flow through the circuit.

Why Efficlean-TF?
- Efficlean-TF is a filter that separates solid from liquid at micron levels, even to the extent of 0.25 microns.
- This is a bypass filter, with a separate pump for inlet pressure requirements of 3 to 4 bar depending on the site condition.
- This pressure energy is converted to rotational energy in Efficlean-TF, which causes particles to accumulate layer by layer in the rotor walls (solid muck).
- Cleaned oil from Efficlean-TF is routed back to the tank by gravitational forces.
