What is Soot Blower?

Soot Blower is an acoustics automatic online cleaning systems for Boilers, SuperHeater, Economizers, Air-preheaters,Dust collectors, Bag filters, etc. The system comprises of high energy low frequency soot blower powered bycompressed air pressure of 5-7 kg/cm2 and are engineered & designed to prevent particulate buildup in the tubes,which significantly improves process efficiency.

How it Works?

  • The basic principle of the system is that the sound waves of high frequency which are generated flow over various surfaces.
  • It produces sound waves of 140-148 dB frequency.
  • Kinetically activated dust particles clinging to any solid surface get resonated and break free from the surface they adhere.
  • Once dislodged, these particles fall due to gravity or fly away in the air.
  • It is activate for 10-20 sec after every 15 mins to 30 mins automatically, depending upon the soot/dust load on the surfaces of the equipment.
